I'm shivering
but on the inside
how long
will I keep this appearance?
clouds on my eyes
clouds on my mind
invisible scar
..that will always remain...
impossible to explain...
the darkness
boiling deep below
unpredictable to me
invisible to you
it's taking over
I'm loosing control

What life throws back at you...

Sometimes it's very difficult to accept changes, especially if it means that you have to step out of your secure bubble and into the real world. At the same time you will never experience anything new if you always play it safe.
I've already stepped out of the bubble in many ways, and I def feel like I am out of my security zone. I've moved to another country, started a new course, taken up a huuuuuge loan, I've done this all by myself. Maybe being so far out of what feels safe and being able to control certain changes myself actually makes me more vulnerable when it comes to changes I cant affect.
When you're young and everyone chases their own dreams it's easy to loose contact with friends. Sadly I'm experiencing benefits and down sides of that. On one side I've made loads of new friends and connected even stronger with some of my old friends by being away from them over longer periods, on the other side I feel like I'm loosing some of my old friends. Not because we dont like eachother or we've had a fight. We've grown apart, and theres no foundation for a close friendship anymore. It is really sad. It feels like someone died, and I have to take time to mourn the loss...

Scandinavian design!

I haven't found a lot of good Scandinavian designers I've liked so far, but Maggie Wonkas dresses have caught my eyes more than once. I've often seen them in magazines and they are very cute and summerish. Suits the bohemian style perfectly! I couldn't download the pictures of their latest collection, but check out the website!
I'm in a New York state of miiiind
I'm not really a big Billy Joel fan (neither do I dislike him) but I looove NEW YORK! I've only been there once before, and I think it's time we met again! The city and I that is...My mother's been talking about celebrating christmas there, since my dad wont be home this year. And our aunt lives in New Jersey, so that would be pretty perfect. But my mum is all about talking sometimes, and I'm not really sure it's gonna happen (she promised me a dog when I was 8 and theres still no sight of him). I have a backup plan though! My brothers moving to New York in january 09 to study journalism and photography, and I'm gonna come and visit him. Wether he likes it or not! I'm in a New York state of miiiiiiiiind<3
Photographer Matt Joy
My good friend Matty is an up and coming photographer. I've used several of his pictures as favourite pictures of the day in this blog and there is a lot more where that came from. He went to the same uni as me last year, studying film. And is enrolled at Norwich Scool of Art this year doing what he does best, photography! He's done some great shots of models, but as a result of bringing his camera everywhere he also has a lot of other great photos. Check out his myspace website for more info.http://www.myspace.com/matthewjoyphotography
Poor Sienna?

Right from the beginning I've always loved Sienna's laidback attitude and style. But lately it might seem as she's been too reckless. Most people can understand that a woman in her 20s flirt around, but when it comes to married men (with children!) things are a bit different, and you suddenly find yourself in a big danger zone!
I really don't want to judge her too quickly like most of the media has done, but I do think she's gone over her head on this one. BUT, it seems like most people who write about this put the blame on Ms Miller. Obviously she's not innocent here, but it was in fact Getty, THE GUY, who cheated, and not Sienna. He was the one who was married and broke his promises. I am soooo sick over women being blamed for everything, the men always get away with it! Women always bitch about eachother and fight over men, while the guy sit back and enjoy it. In most cases it is actually the cheating part who is to blame for it, and this one is not an exception!

Some "must have" you do not need
According to Norwegian ELLE this is the 10 "must haves" this autumn.
1. Little black dress (already have at least 10)
2. Leather pants (no thanks, I dont drive an mc nor am I a gay man)
3. A white shirt (again, basic!)
4. Power suit (I'm a student, most people at my uni wear sweatpants, I feel overdressed wearing jeans)
5. Web knit (my grandma can have her style all to herself)
6. A 70s dress (bought one two years ago!)
7. Wide smart pants (thats for fat lawyers)
8. Androgyn jacket (it will make you look powerful, but it's too mafia for me)
9. Laces (dont live in hookerville)
10. XL jewellry (hmm... will think about it)
Is this a list they threw together after studying the catwalk fashion? DO NOT follow fashion religiously!

Housewife for a day or so...
Its quite obvious that I'll never ever be a stay at home mum. I've never enjoyed cleaning or cooking. And I dont really like children... but thats another issue. Every other year I do enjoy a bit of cooking and baking though. I spend the weekend with Marit Elise in my grandparents old house. She is going to be the perfect housewife one day. She can cook, bake, clean... AND she enjoys it! Anyway, it rubbed off on me, but only for a couple of hours. On the bright side my fridge is packed with homemade bluberry jam and its probably gonna be another 2 years before I become a temporary housewife again.
Did I ever tell you...
that I get easily annoyed????????!!!!! I am revising for my DIDS exam up in my mums office, and my dad is right outside the window building something on the veranda. ARGHGHGFHLDFGJDFOHGFDRGJBJKRGFO)BK
